  1. Honestly, I have never heard of Small Business Saturday, but I try to support local businesses whenever I am able to do so. I wish that there were more of them where I live, so I like to support those that are here. This company sounds like a great start-up, and I would be really interested in trying out their product. :)

    1. Tell me your area and I’m sure they have a chamber of commerce that can find you a few. It may be something that someone does from home (Etsy sales perhaps) or it could be the one gas station that isn’t a “big” name on the backroads to the next city. They come in all shapes and sizes.

  2. Last year on my blog I showcased some small businesses and home crafters. I hope to do that again, but haven’t had anyone interested. I love small business Saturday and with the way Black Friday is turning into Brown Thursday, I would rather shop small anyways.

  3. I don’t do anything specific for this day. I do tend to buy from moms and local stores when I can afford it. Unfortunately, buying from commercial companies still tends to be cheaper on a lot of products.

  4. What a great post.. I try to buy from small businesses as much as I can, I love to use local repair people and always look for a small business instead of the BIG chain stores.. they never have personalized service or help you as much as a MOM and POP store or business would… Thanks for sharing

  5. I have heard of it, but I work 12 hour shifts on saturdays so I don’t have time to get out. If I did I would probably support one of the local family owned restaraunts!

  6. I ran a lifestyle blog over here and I really love supporting small-medium scale enterprises. I have great respect for budding entrepreneurs and I find their products and services much more personal and not the cookie-cutter kind.

Thank you for sharing this review opportunity.

  7. I work for a few small businesses, so I support small business every day. :)

In all seriousness, I find myself trying to support local more than really determining if the company is a small business or not. And at the same time, I’m a mom on a budget, so I have to take that into consideration.

  8. we always like supporting small businesses when possible and try to do so on small business saturday also. they really add to our town.
