School is back in session and the leaves are already starting to fall a bit! Okay, some fall year round, but let’s pretend for a minute that it isn’t 90 in September (because we will want to pretend the snow doesn’t fall all “spring” sometimes too!) and just look forward to some great fall activities in Michigan! Blake Orchard & Cider Mill
Description: From their apples, peaches and berries, they also have a haunted barn and hayrides. Their corn maze is also popular. Later they offer a u-cut Christmas trees! For October don’t miss the haunted hayride! Also has cut your own Christmas trees later in the season.

Corn Fun
Description: You pick pumpkin patch or pick from a pile for those less adventorous! Corn maze, haybale maze, walk a goat, tractor-pulled hay rides. They have “designed” mazes, and this year they have Michigan versus Michigan State corn maze! Bring your own picnic and check out their farm animals and petting zoo!

Miller’s Big Red Barn
Description: Petting zoo, berries, locally grown produce and of course the pumpkin patch and apple cider! Pick your own apples!  Bakery and country store. Hayrides and a weekend bounce house!

Pankiewsicz Farm and Cider Mill
UV treated cider available from their orchard fresh apples, pears and plums, as well as canning tomatoes in their country store. People love their home-made caramel apples as well as their frozen cider available year round.

Stony Creek Orchard and Cider Mill
Description: Pick your own apples, pumpkins (pre-gathered), tractor pulls and wagon rides. Also, don’t miss their local honey and apple cider! They have pony rides and a refreshment stand as well.

U-pick pumpkin patch and hay rides! Too much rain, there will be no corn maze in 2015 :( But they still have mums and the rest of the farm! They also have Indian corn, carving kits, pies and various gourds.

Watch apple cider being made or relax, enjoy weekend live music, stroll in the children’s farm zoo, and take a family photograph around our rustic covered wagon. They offer a scenic tractor wagon rides through our beautiful orchard including a stop at the pumpkin patch and straw bale maze. Need a quick stop for cider, donuts or a pie? Then check out their Red Shed Market on Ann Arbor road. They offer a variety of apples. Here’s their list of local apples and availability. This is not a u-pick for apples – but you can buy fresh at their market. Their pumpkins are u-pick: Retail and U-Pick Pumpkins are 40 cents per pound (2015).
